The Gabonese Foreign Minister H.E. Pacome MOUBELET-BOUBEYA in India
In a bid to carry forward the bilateral relations between the two countries, The Gabonese Foreign Minister H.E. Pacome MOUBELET-BOUBEYA had visited India from 18 to 22 June 2017 at the Indian Government’s invitation.
During his visit, Mr. Pacome MOUBELET-BOUBEYA had extensive bilateral discussions with the honourable Minister of External Affairs, Mrs. Sushma SWARAJ, completed by the signing of two agreements, one of them focusing on regular bilateral consultations and the other one pertaining to the International Solar Alliance.
The Minister also met with other Indian counterparts namely Mr. Arun JAITLEY, Minister of Finance and Defence, Mr. Suresh PRABHU, Minister of Railways and Mr. Nitin JAIRAM GADKARI, Minister of Road Transport and Highway.
The Gabonese Foreign Minister had a series of interactive economic sessions in Delhi and Kolkata. At the PHD headquarters in Delhi, he showcased the enormous natural resources which Gabon in endowed with and invited the businessmen to Look at Gabon as a place to invest, a place to make money and a place to create jobs for the benefit of the Indian companies and the people of Gabon, while stressing the fields of interest in Gabon namely raw materials, Agriculture, Housing, General Infrastructure (road, airports and ports) building.
